Henning Salon is an AVEDA lifestyle concept salon, located in historic downtown Orangeville, Ontario. Henning Salon was looking for an opportunity to tell their story, and we launched their first website to do so in 2008.
Website:
Henning Salon, owned by Kathleen Henning, has an incredible story to tell. Her vision originally came to her when she was a single mom working from her home as a hair stylist and raising her 3 daughters back in 1992. Since this time, Kathleen has grown her business to include the purchase of a historic building in Orangeville, the designation of her salon as an AVEDA concept salon and the rights to distribute the world-known product line, and the building of a great team of stylists and support staff.
When it came to telling her own story though…Kathleen had troubles. It is not always easy to craft your own story. Through a series of interviews and the gathering of documentation, we had a solid foundation to build her website upon. A great photography shoot with Jim Craigmyle gave a look that we could build the design upon, and combined with our writing, Orangeville’s pre-eminent salon now had a home online.
Ongoing Communications & Coaching:
Shortly after her website was complete, Kathleen was nominated for several awards. She required some writing for the judging panel, and we assisted again in telling her story. On an ongoing basis, we are ready to assist with communications coaching and public relations.
