TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER FOR EARTH HOUR – MARCH 28, 2009

We’re really excited at Focus on Media to get turned off this weekend! Earth Hour hits the world March 28, 2009, from 8:30-9:30 p.m. In 2008, 50 million people turned off their lights in an unprecedented vote to stop Global Warming.
Along with millions of participants around the world, we’re planning on turning off the lights for the 2009 event, spending some time out in nature enjoying the beautiful starlight and quiet. However, we at Focus on Media are not only turning off the lights, but making sure we power down our laptops, printers, harddrives, ipods, speakers…you name it. We encourage our friends and fellow designers to do the same. Let’s see “How low we can go?”
