Website Planning/Selling on the Internet
May 13, 6-9 pm
Targeted toward small business owners, this interactive workshop will take you through the process of planning your business website step-by-step. Everything from getting your domain name to incorporating online sales will be explained. Attendees will walk away prepared to plan their site, with checklists and information on working with web designers.

E-Marketing & Web 2.0
May 27, 6-9 pm
An interactive workshop designed to guide you through the many opportunities awaiting those in the online market. Learn what makes an effective marketing website and the planning process involved. Attendees will learn about what the term “Web 2.0″, and how it applies to their business communications and marketing model. Walk away with a greater understanding of how to make your website work for you.

Collingwood

Introduction to Internet Marketing for Small Business
June 25, 2009, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
This is a presentation built on our experience in Orangeville in 2008. Catharine Frith from the Collingwood SBEC office saw us then and knew she had to bring our team to Collingwood to work with the businesses north of Highway 89! Bethany and Derrick will present the essentials of professional web design, industry terms, when to call in the experts (and how to work with them), pricing, and an introduction to E-commerce.
