ActionScript 3.0 – Visual Quickstart Guide – Derrick’s Update

I’m working behind the scenes on a textbook for PeachPit Press, based out of California, due to hit shelves later this summer. The guide will be called “ActionScript 3.0 -A Visual Quickstart Guide” – and while it sounds pretty dry to some of you, for you programmers out there, this will provide an indepth look at ActionScript in a user-friendly format. Just yesterday, I met online with my editorial team for an update, and we’re getting really close. It’s exciting to realize that I am over halfway through. Some chapters will be released as rough-cuts; I’ll let you know where to find them when they come.
