Derrick Ypenburg
Derrick Ypenburg is recognized as an industry expert in internet technologies and creation of rich multimedia applications. As co-owner of Focus on Media and Lead Developer, Derrick brings over 10 years of experience to the job, to make the most simple websites or presentations to the most complex live streaming videos.
Bethany Lee
Bethany brings excellent project management skills to the table, both in corporate and independent settings. As an owner and Lead Project Manager of Focus on Media, you will soon notice her attention to detail, enthusiasm for interdisciplinary communications, and ability to coordinate your project completely.
Our Studio
The Focus on Media design studio is located in Orangeville, just outside of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We live and work in our community to minimize our environmental footprint, and whenever possible, use local suppliers.

Our Team
Our team is small and specialized. We are trained in the field of design, interactive multimedia, audio/video production and streaming, programming, identity management and corporate communication. We are also linked to a number of other small companies that are at the ready to work with us when demand dictates. This helps us bring the costs of our project down for the benefit of our clients.
Our Associates
Through Focus on Media’s associations with colleagues, industry associations, conferences and trade media, we have a solid network of talent to pull from when we need to. Being pretty social people ourselves, we’ve gathered and worked with some great programmers, designers, printers and audio/video crews. By keeping our company small but maintaining strong industry networks, we keep costs down and use the best talent available.
